Sehgal Foundation in the US celebrated its 25th anniversary with an evening of reflection and forward-looking aspirations. The event brought together key members of the foundation, global partners, and supporters to commemorate its impactful legacy and envision a sustainable future. The evening opened with a warm welcome by Jay Sehgal, vice president, Sehgal Foundation, in the US, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.
The journey of 25 years was highlighted by reflections from the SMSF India team, including CEO Anjali Makhija, COO Anjali Godyal, and CFO Ramesh Kapahi, who shared insights into the foundation’s growth and achievements. A commemorative video showcased the foundation’s milestones, emphasizing the transformative impact it has made in rural communities. Global partners shared their experiences, further enriching the narrative of collaboration and shared purpose.
The event also featured Dr. Suri Sehgal, the founder of Sehgal Foundation, who provided an inspiring vision for the future, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to a brighter and sustainable tomorrow. Members of the S M Sehgal Foundation Board of Trustees, including Ben Sehgal and Vyoma Nair, graced the occasion alongside US-based partners. Their presence reflected the collective dedication to the foundation’s mission and values.

SF India-US Team Strategy Meeting.
The management team of S M Sehgal Foundation was invited to the United States to explore opportunities for strengthening donor and partner relationships. These efforts are to enhance the foundation’s approach to fundraising and improve technical and academic collaborations in the US. In addition, the team will evaluate their current fundraising strategy in India and contribute to the development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy.

In December 2024, Shalu participated in the Rajasthan Yuva Mahotsav held in Malakheda and organized by the Rajasthan government. Leveraging the skills she had gained through the digital library and training sessions, Shalu created a presentation on mobile applications for the digital fair, emphasizing their benefits and limitations. Her well-prepared and engaging presentation earned her first place.
