TRANSFORM LIVES one school at a time transforms dilapidated government schools into safe, healthy, vibrant places where children can learn and thrive, with upgraded classrooms and infrastructure, WHO-standard drinking water and WASH amenities (water, sanitation, and hygiene), community champions who ensure high-quality public education, and life skills and digital trainings enable students be prepared for 21st century jobs.
Millions of school-age children (6–14) across 640,000 villages in rural India are still in need of access to the tools and safe environments for learning, and you have the power to help! ABOUT US
Sehgal Foundation’s award-winning program, TRANSFORM LIVES one school at a time, helps to fulfill our mission to empower rural India. The model has proven its resilience and effectiveness across multiple regions in India, where enrollments have typically increased by 12%, and attendance has increased by 40% annually. The program has also been cited for replication by the Government of Rajasthan. To date, we have transformed 110 schools and have directly impacted 35,000+ students and counting!
