With support from the partners, S M Sehgal Foundation (Sehgal Foundation) designs and promotes rural development interventions that create opportunities, build resilience, and provide solutions to some of the most pressing challenges in India’s poorest communities. S M Sehgal Foundation invites applications for the position of Manager, PR (Partner Relations) on an annually renewable fixed-term contract.
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
Reporting: Senior Manager, Public Relations
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in communications
Position Requirements:
- Post Graduation/Master’s from a reputed institute
- Good written and communication skills in English, Hindi
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and designing software (InDesign, Adobe, Canva) in addition to video, photo, and audio editing
- Hands-on experience with social media
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in carrying out Information, Education, and Communication activities in projects. These include content planning and conceptualization and execution of the plan aligning with the needs of partnership projects.
- Assist in building visibility to partnership projects by understanding requirements and executing the same through campaigns, article series, videos, and others.
- Network with the media representatives to design familiarization visits at project locations to get coverage of the work.
- Plan and document project launches, branding of project offices, and special events celebrations in project areas.
- Coordinate with the agencies for IEC materials, project materials designing, proofreading, translation, and production.
- Visit field locations to capture case studies, testimonials, and other content to showcase project progress and qualitative impact to the Partners.
- Any other responsibilities scheduled from time to time.
