S M Sehgal Foundation invites applications for the position of Program Lead, Adaptive Technology – Water Management
Location: Gurugram, Haryana
Reporting: Principal Lead, Water Management
Qualification: Post Graduate, in Geology/Hydrogeology/Civil Engineering/Environmental
Sciences or any related disciplines from a reputed university
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience of curating and managing Water
- Management/ Water Conservation/Watersheds/Rural Water Supply/Sanitation projects.
- Good understanding of water management issues, digital technology and emerging & innovative solutions for water scarcity and water management.
- Experience of integrated technology innovations and digital solutions in the realm of water management.
- Experience of infusing innovations in different geographies with contextualization involving testing, augmentation and optimization.
- Experience of documenting and publishing experiential insights through varied writing forms

- Leadership skills and ability to complement and collaborate smoothly with the team.

Job Description
- Reviewing and harnessing Innovations and Technology for Water Management program.
- Piloting the innovative models in field and refining as per field conditions and local needs.
- Adoption of digital public goods and technologies to improve and enhance water security at scale.
- Carrying out scientific evaluation of key water management project interventions.
- Publishing research papers, scientific studies, technology validation etc.
- Ensure seamless implementation, coordination and monitoring of tech innovations in WM projects.
- Ensure all deliverables are achieved in compliance with plans, targets and allocated budget.
- Liaison with panchayat/block/district administration or concerned departments for permissions/NOC required, if any.
- Documentation and dissemination of success stories, writing project report and outcomes.
- Provide technical support to field team, develop and update modules for professional capacity building of team and around project interventions for all stakeholders.
- Provide support to all other programs/ centres of SMSF as per need.
- Represent the organization publicly at events, conferences, and partnership meetings.
- Any other duty or responsibility assigned by organization or its representative from time to time.
- Strict adhering to organizational vision, mission and guiding principles of SMSF.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good knowledge of AUTOCAD, ARC GIS, Groundwater modelling and related software will be an added advantage.
